Obituary

Terry Lee Vaughn, Jr., 44 of Etowah, TN. Born in Cleveland, TN on July 20, 1973 went on to be with the Lord Sunday, April 1, 2018. He was of the Christian faith and he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandson, Mason.

Preceded in death by his brother, Mike Vaughn of Etowah, TN; grandparents, Alfred and Judy Vaughn of Cleveland, TN; Fred and Hattie Sears of Hinton, WV.

Survivors include his daughter, Heather Vaughn of Reliance, TN; grandson, Mason Martin of Etowah, TN; parents, Terry and Jean Vaughn of Etowah, TN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lisa and Tim Bryson of Englewood, TN and Kim and Ben Winkler of Chatsworth, GA;brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Amy Vaughn of Pipestem, WV; nieces and nephews, Sara Tate of Chattanooga, TN,  Caleb and Michael Bryson of Englewood, TN, Amanda Bender, Ashley Vaughn and Tyler Vaughn all of Pipestem, WV, Noah Winkler  of  Chatsworth, GA and Zach Moses of Etowah, TN; lots of special family members including aunts, uncles, and cousins from Cleveland, TN

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Cambria Cemetery with Rev. Jason Humberd officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 7th in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m., Saturday with Rev. Jason Humberd officiating.

Jody and Hunter Shelton, Noah Winkler, Tim and Michael Bryson and Mike Tate will serve as pallbearers.

    I never expected to lose him so soon . as a Vaughn and having a big family . Ive always had a lot of people I could always call on that’s what family’s for but . The last couple of years . gods called so many of them home . but never could ive for seen this coming . I always expected we be making fun of each other on and on as we got really really old. ( we already been feeling old lol) But ill never forget you as long as i live . and i know ur up there with Steve and the rest of our family . and ill do all I can for yours on this side lil T . I love and miss you always . Rip Lil T !

    Terry was such a great person/papaw/daddy. I know this personally because I got the privilege to call him my step dad. I’ve got some many great memories I could sit and share all day. Terry will be missed very much, his smile his jokes and his caring personality and heart. Prayers for his whole family 🙏🏼

    So hard to believe..such a great friend. It breaks my heart! I didnt have the honor of knowing you long. Im truly Blessed for the short time i did have to spend with you!! They dont make them like Little T anymore. The memories we share
    I will forever cherishes. Yes Heather and Mason he loved dearly as his step kids as well. Il miss oir conversations and the rides we share. My condolences and till again ill be missing you!!! Love YOU infinity.

    Terry was my brother in law. One of the greatest guys around. He would do anything he could for you… He loved his family fiercely. His grandson, Mason, was the light of his life! I’ll always remember that big smile!!! No matter the mood you were in all it took was him picking on you, that laugh of his and you had to smile!! Sure gonna miss him!!. Our condolences to his family!! You know he’s right there with you as your guardian angel!!

      He was a wonderful stepdad that loved his stepson, Josh and stepdaughter Leslie!! He stepped right in and make sure they had all they needed and loved them like his own!! Couldn’t do for better than that!!

    No matter what time we got up during the night or early morning or anytime we happened to glance accross the street,
    We looked for Terry. A Hard working young man and always had a smile for you.
    Rest in peace young man, and know that the neighborhood will miss you. Prayers for those who remain that loved you and will grieve for you.
