Jim and I are sad to learn of Sue’s passing. Sue was a founding board member for the Etowah Arts Commission and I had the pleasure of serving with her, and later, working for her. I remember her as a visionary board member and one who was not afraid of work. Sue sewed, cooked, acted as an advocate for the arts, and lent her creative ideas to every project and initiative. And she was fun. Blessings to her family.

Having just read of Mrs Haren’s passing, I was immediately filled with many good memories of my friendship with Sky and as part of the church family there at First Baptist with Mrs Haren. I am very sorry to hear of Mrs Haren’s passing and the family’s loss, but I”m also thanking God for her life and influence on so many. May the Lord strengthen with His grace and comfort, all those who mourn. God’s blessings to the extended family. – jeff wilson
