    Miss Sue,

I was so blessed to have you in my life as a kid. Thank you for all the trips to get ice cream, letting me play on your type writer and telling me stories. I am so glad I made the trip to surprise you on Athens a few years ago. You lit up the room as always. I will love you forever. You were like a grandmother to me.

I am so sorry for your family’s loss.

I have had the distinct pleasure of working with Sue for over 12 years and she was a gracious and kind lady, and a good friend. She will be greatly missed by a lot of folks in Athens and in particular those of us who had the pleasure of working closely with her at the Economic Development Authority.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
