I was saddened to hear of Mrs. Coker’s passing. She was a wonderful friend to all who knew her, as one of her goals in life was helping others. She will be missed. My prayers are with the family.

Marcella and I shared a lot of memories. Working for her at the Poke A Bout, the flea market and the residential home (when I was just a teenager) We saw each other through some very trying times, one of which was when she heard that I was going through a divorce. She heard that I was living with my parents again and she called me and told me she was working on an apartment and asked if I would like to rent it… she even asked what color I wanted… her timing was perfect… as always. She treated me like I was part of the family and she was a wonderful example of a true friend and I will greatly miss her. Her wonderful smile and her contagious laugh will be something I will always remember. As the family faces this loss, please know that you are in my prayers, but most of all… remember that she was a women that loved her family unconditionally… and I loved her!
