Lula Mae Crockett age 99 of Etowah, TN passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 at her home after a lingering illness.

A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was the daughter of late David Edgar Crockett, Sr. and Ada Kelley Crockett.

She was a long time member of North Etowah Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Athens Products. Mae was preceded in death by two sisters, Pauline Crockett Melton and Sue Crockett, four brothers, David E. Crockett Jr., Herbert C. Crockett, Troy Crockett and Derward O. Crockett and one nephew Jeffery David Crockett.
She is survived by one sister, Sharon Crockett Coltharp and one sister-in-law, Helen Leonard Crockett and several nieces and nephews. Betty and Pruette Carter and Bryan, Lynn and Mark Brandus and family, Melany Martin and Family, Janet Crockett, Travis and Julie Crockett and Family, Kathy and John Upchurch, Pat and Linda Crockett and family, Linda and Eddie Rich and family, Karen and Jerry McGinnis, Alison and Cole.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Rayburn, Tommy Hayes, John Upchurch, Coty Morrow, Pat Crockett and Jerry McGinnis.

The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 19, 2018 in the south chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Wade officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to North Etowah Baptist Church Nursery Remodel Fund at 231 Pennsylvania Ave. Etowah TN 37331.

    My name is Harold Smith, wanted to tell you I’m sorry to hear about Lula Mae passing away. I worked with her at Athens Products, as her supervisor. She was an outstanding employee, very hard worker and never missed work. Always did a great job without any
