    To the Borden Family,

Was so sorry to hear of Elaine’s death. I did not know about it until late this afternoon, so I was unable to attend the services.

She was a great neighbor, as was the whole Borden family. And I often remember the good times we had growing up in Englewood. Those were certainly the ‘good ole days.’

You will all be in my thoughts and prayers during this time of bereavement.

Judy and I were so sorry to hear of Elaine’s passing. She was the PPR chairman when we came to pastor at Englewood UMC. Elaine went out of her way to welcome us and did everything she could to support us during our four years in Englewood. She was a real lady of faith and we were honored to count Elaine and Jerry as our friends. If we are unable to be at her service, please know that our prayers are with you.

There are so many great memories of your mom from the neighborhood we all played in to our grown up years and Church. Elaine was such a good, strong, caring woman.
We are never completely ready for that moment when our loved one goes to their heavenly home. Elaine is in peace.. talking, singing and laughing.
And we will all be with her once again.
Peace and Love be with you all.
