Obituary

Brandon James Cassada 33, of Etowah left this earth May 2, 2018, but will never leave our hearts. A life well lived is a precious gift, a legacy. A well life he lived, the legacy he left behind is indescribable. He made an everlasting impact on anyone who crossed his path. Brandon loved the outdoors, his toys, and tinkering on any and everything; everything had its place just as he had his place on this earth and he fulfilled it so amazingly. He lived his life for his family every single breath he took.  He left behind his wife, best friend, soul mate, Sabra Cassada, two red heads that are all boy and a spitting image of their daddy, HarLee and RyKer; a beautiful princess,  AriElla who had her daddy wrapped around her finger; he is survived by his father and his wife, Stan and Joyce Cassada; beloved brother, Josh Cassada; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mike and Teresa Cline; his second mother and father, JL and Diane Lawson; aunts and uncles Missy and Buddy Davis, Steve and Renee Cassada, Susie Pike, Gary Pike; cousins, Megan,  Madison, Tara, Carrie, Julie and Jeremy.

Preceded in death by his mother, Jane Cassada; grandparents, Roy and Augusta Cassada; niece, Kylie Grace Overton; uncle, R.L. Pike; cousin, Jonathan Pike.   Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Vincent officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Saturday prior to the service. Stan, My Friend, It’s been a while, It’s been a long while; I’m so sorry to hear about you son… He’s a fine looking young man Stan, and “He looks looks just like his Father.” He was taken way, way too soon and as I said, I’m so, so sorry… I pray for God to comfort you and your family….. You were always a true and loyal friend to me and I never forgot that, and I never will forget that friendship and loyalty… My God be with you and your family… Take care and be safe My-Friend ! ! !

Stan and family…my heart is just breaking for all of you. This is the hardest thing for a parent to deal with. You are in my prayers now for several days, for our Heavenly Father to bring you strength and comfort,
The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit. Psalm 34:18
    My love to you all.

    Stan, Josh and Sabra,

I am so sorry for your loss. I really loved Brandon, my son Billy Joe and Brandon were inseparable when they were young, camping in the woods behind my dad’s house and camping in our backyard almost all summer long. Sabra, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your precious children.

Dear Stan and family. I am so sorry for your loss! We aren’t supposed to lose our children before ourselves. I have never lost a child but I know how loss feels. Know that I am thinking of you all and praying for each of you. Jackie McClary

I am sending prayers of Strength and Peace. I know it doesn’t seem like it right now, but you won’t always feel like you do right now. You will grow heart muscles that more easily carry the pain you are in the midst of right now. Love is always there, but he’s with God and with you in different ways, than before. His beautiful purpose continues on and will always be a part of yours xo Wendy
