Arvil “Eddie” Mullinax Jr.

Arvil “Eddie” Mullinax Jr., 52, of Englewood, passed away Monday, June 14, 2010 at his residence. A native of Dayton, Ohio and a resident of McMinn County for most of his life, he was a member of North Englewood Missionary Baptist Church. He was a former employee of J. M. Huber, and was a 1976 graduate of McMinn Central High School. He is preceded in death by his father, Arvil E. Mullinax, Sr., a stepfather, Duane Shoffeitt, and a great-nephew, Jalyn Hood. Survivors include wife, Sandra Mullinax of Englewood, TN; daughter, Amber Allen of Englewood, TN; step-sons Chris Harris of Chattanooga, TN, Glenn Goins and Destin Goins of South Carolina; mother Sue Shoffeitt of Englewood, TN; granddaughters, Kelyn and Cassidy Allen; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Ronnie Bain of Athens, TN; brother, Walt Shoffeitt of Englewood, TN; one niece and spouse, Karen and Richard Robinson, one nephew and spouse, Jerreth and Mary Beth Bain, one great niece, Haven Robinson and one great nephew, Chandler Hood. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Sunrise Cemetery in Englewood with the Rev. Benny Goodman and Rev. Doug Coleman officiating. There will be no formal visitation held. Bordwine Funeral Home of Etowah is in charge of arrangements.

    Well Honey I miss you sooooooooo very much! I will Love you till the day I die ! Went to the funeral home today your x was there. So sad about Amber kelyn and Cassidy! So glad you cant see things that are bad here! You would be hurt about how some family member dont like me and blame me for your death! You and I know better and GOD Almighty! Thats OK I do Love them and he knows my heart! Thats all that matters ! You always told me they would nt have anything to do with me if something happend to you, Well guess what Baby? You told me you would say something just to hear there reaction about your WIFE! That you would even say badwords to know how truly they didnt like me. Hey BABY I am so glad you told me all this before you went to GLORY so i wouldnt be dissapointed! It didnt surprice me then and it doesnt now! You and I both KNOW we were not separated! I LOVE YOU 4 EVER AND A DAY! YOU”R WIFE SANDRA MULLINAX XOXO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Tell Deb I Love Her! TELL MY MOMA AND DADDY I LOVE THEM AS WELL AS MY BROTHER TONY! I Will do my best to take care of Amber!
